Top Superstitions

Black cats have long been believed to be a supernatural omen since the witch hunts of the middle ages when cats were thought to be connected to evil. Since then, it is considered bad luck if a black cat crosses your path.

In the days before the gallows, criminals were hung from the top rung of a ladder and their spirits were believed to linger underneath. Common folklore has it to be bad luck to walk beneath an open ladder and pass through the triangle of evil ghosts and spirits.

Every year (that's what annual means) Delta Iota Epsilon hosts the Monster Maker Challenge to fund our Spring Fling  (affectionately known as Cthulhu Beach Party) in Pismo Beach.  For those wanting to join in the fun, there are very specific rules.
1.  Entrants must be approved by our faculty advisor, Professor Undressa Mehere.
2.  Body Parts must be obtained from approved organic cemeteries.  No Road Kill allowed.
3.  Due to power grid deficiencies, only 1000 Megajoule shock treatments are approved, the exception being devices that allow natural electricity (Lightning, cosmic rays, alien rejuvenators or Illiudium Q-36 Space Modulators.)
4.  Completed monsters must be mobile and have the ability to perform on stage (preferably, Putting on the Ritz.)
Completed monsters must be eligible for admission into Ghoul Skool and agree to pledge at Try or Die.
